Edible Chip Teacup from Beauty & the Beast

|

What’s Inside: An adorable Chip Teacup edible cookie treat, perfect for kids parties and Beauty & the Beast birthdays!

Belle was always my favorite princess growing up so I’m super excited for the new live-action Beauty & the Beast. This Edible Teacup Recipe for Chip from Beauty & the Beast is a cute treat to make with or for the kids before watching the movie!

Perfect for a Beauty & the Beast birthday party! These Chip teacups are not only adorable, they're edible! A creative kids dessert that everyone will love.

I previously made these Chip Rice Krispie Squares but you can really never have enough Chip! I even own this set of a real Mrs Potts and Chip that add a fun dash of whimsy to teatime (or a fun excuse to have teatime…)

The inspiration for these edible Chip teacups comes from that scene in Willy Wonka where Gene Wilder picks up an edible daffodil in the Chocolate Room, sips some tea out of it, and then proceeds to take a bite!

This edible food craft comes together in just a few minutes and is completely no-bake, so it’s a great activity to involve the kids in and would be perfect  for a Beauty & the Beast movie night or birthday party.

The edible teacups can be served filled with berries or ice cream, too!
We used the same edible gold glitter that we used on our Easy Unicorn Cupcakes but it is optional and you can use yellow sugar crystals or even yellow candy melts in their place.

How to Make an Edible Chip Teacup for a Beauty & the Beast Party

Cut about 1/3 of the bottom off each ice cream cone.

Break off rounded edges from the pretzels so they look like little cup handles.

Place white candy melts in a bowl, and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring each time, until melted.

Dip the little pretzel handles into melted chocolate until coated and place on parchment paper. Sprinkle on edible gold glitter. Let Dry

Dip ice cream cones into melted chocolate until covered inside and out, place on parchment paper and let dry.

Cut a small V-shape into the top of the cone to form his namesake “chip.”

Next, dip each end of the cone into the melted candy melts and lightly dip into the glitter to form a gold rim on each end of the cone.

Heat the pink and blue drizzle pouches according to package directions, and make little triangle shapes around the edge of the cookie, alternating each color.

Next, draw on Chip’s eyes and mouth. You can use an edible food marker or use a brown color drizzle pouch to do this as well, whichever you prefer.

Finally, place a small circle of melted chocolate in the center of the cookie and set the cone on it, then put a little more chocolate on the inside of the cone to make sure it sticks to the cookie. Let dry.

Fill with berries or ice cream and enjoy!
