Hi Mary Beth, I have not had experience freezing them but they can last in an airtight room temp container for 2 weeks so hopefully that works for your timeline.
Freezing can cause the candy coating to sweat and make the OREOs a bit soft, but they will still be gorgeous and delicious.

Hi Michele – I would still recommend dipping the cookies because they chocolate coating will help hold everything in place, like the ears. I would use a light M&M like yellow because it will cover easier.
