Thanks for your comment, Karen - we missed Jenny's comment (probably summer busy-ness) but I've corrected the recipe now. Glad they turned out great for you! This recipe has been on the site for almost a decade now :)

The Sonic Cherry Limeade is probably one of my favorite fountain drinks. I came upon this copycat recipe and thought I'd try it. I did use a little more cherries than your recipe called for but it would be hard to tell a difference between this and the original recipe. Im not even sure if this isn't the actual recipe. Just wish I had the Sonic ice to go with it

I didn't find mine too hard to break apart, so most of the individual popcorn pieces were able to still be "whole" when done. However, you can spread them apart before they harden/set so that they don't have a chance to stick together.

Hi Kate,
Sorry for the error, I believe it would be ¾ cup milk but add up to 1 cup if you feel like the batter needs a bit more.

How much milk is needed for the cupcakes? It states to alternatively mix in the flour and milk, but no milk is listed in the ingredients for the cupcake portion. Thanks!!!

Yes! We have a baked chex mix whose directions can be used in place of the crockpot directions here:
https://www.inthekidskitchen.com/buffalo-chex-mix/
I am also adding a microwave version this Spring :) If you want the microwave directions, let me know and I'll send them to you.
