Honey Glazed Crockpot Chex Mix Recipe
Usually when I see Chex party mix served at a party, it’s either spicy or unseasoned – but the Chex Mix I remember from my childhood was sweet and crunchy, so that’s what I set out to create with this easy Crockpot Chex Mix recipe.
The honey coating hardens into a shiny, sweet glaze that works deliciously with all of the different mix-ins, to make a salty-sweet, crunchy party mix that you won’t be able to stop eating!
This recipe makes a ton of party mix – so it’s great for a crowd, or you can cook once and serve not just for the party, but save some for a fun lunch box snack or bake sale item. (Leave out the nuts if you’re planning to throw in lunch bags – just toss them in at the party.)
This recipe got more compliments than some of the more complicated desserts that I served at last year’s Thanksgiving, so I’ll just take it easier on myself and serve this instead! It was just as popular with the adults as it was with the kids.
