My kids had so much fun helping me back this Bunny Bait and talking about how we needed to save some to set out for the Easter Bunny the night before, just like we do with milk and cookies for Santa.
Hey, that sounds like a great idea to me!
I hope your kids love getting to make (and eat!) this Easter Bunny Bait dessert mix as much as mine did!

How to Make Bunny Bait
To Prep: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread out the cereal, pretzels, Cheerios, M&Ms and marshmallows on the baking sheet.
- Melt the candy melts in the microwave and drizzle over the snack mix.
- Toss the snack mix occasionally, coating evenly with the melted candy coating.
- Let set and then break into bite-sized pieces to serve.

Prep Tips
- Swap out the ingredients mentioned above for your personal favorites or what you have on hand, keeping the crunchy-soft, salty-sweet ratios in mind. For example, white chocolate can be used instead of almond bark.
- To prevent the snack mix from sticking to the baking sheet, be sure to use parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- You can add additional flavor by using a flavor extract in the candy coating, or incorporate dehydrated or dried fruit into the snack mix.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5-7 days. Avoid the fridge, as moisture can make the candy coating sticky.
