Halloween Mini Pizzas
Turn a frozen pizza into a spooky fun meal idea for the kids, by using cookie cutters to make Halloween Mini Pizzas!
Mini Halloween Pizzas
Honestly, I feel weird even calling this a recipe… maybe we should call these a Halloween Mini Pizza Hack?!
Basically, we are taking a pre-made, frozen pizza and turning it into 7 (or more) mini pizzas with a cute Halloween touch.
It’s the perfect option to add a bit of Halloween fun when you’re pressed for time – which I always feel like I am in that short bit of time between school and heading out for trick or treating. (Why have we not moved Halloween to a Saturday night, yet?!)
These also would be a great main dish for a special Halloween lunch box or an appetizer for a Halloween party!
Ingredients
- Defrosted Frozen Pizza
- Mozzarella Cheese Slices
- Pepperoni or Additional Pizza Toppings, optional

Tip: double or triple the number of pizzas based on how many servings you need.

- Circle Cookie Cutter
- Halloween-shaped Cookie Cutters
- Pizza Stone or Baking Sheet
Instructions
To Prep: Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut circles out of the pizza using your large round cookie cutter. Place the mini pizza circles on the prepared cookie sheet.
Top pizzas with additional desired toppings (we added pepperoni).
Using the Halloween cookie cutters, cut out Halloween shapes from the cheese slices. Place a Halloween slice of cheese onto each mini pizza.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and pizza is cooked through.
Prep Tips
- Pizza Type: For best results, use a pizza with a thicker crust so that the mini pizzas don’t break while being transferred. If desired, you can use just a pre-made pizza crust and not a fully pre-made pizza, if you want to add your own sauce and toppings.
- Add More Toppings: Besides cheese, consider adding toppings like sliced olives for eyes, pepperoni cut into fun shapes, or green bell pepper strips for a spooky touch.
- Make Ahead: You can prepare the mini pizzas ahead of time. Assemble them on a baking sheet, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for up to 2-3 hours before baking. This way, you can simply pop them in the oven when it’s time to serve.
- Serve with Dips: To make the mini pizzas even more fun, offer a variety of dips, like marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or even a spooky green dip made from mashed avocado. This adds an interactive element that kids will love.
