Orange Creamsicle Fudge
A fresh and modern take on two nostalgic favorites – a creamsicle ice cream bar and candy shoppe fudge come together to make a Creamsicle Orange-Vanilla Fudge that’s fun & unique.
The creamy texture stays soft and smooth thanks to marshmallow creme and white chocolate, while the vibrant orange swirl gives every piece a fancy confectionary flourish and light orange flavor.
Creamsicle Marshmallow Fudge Recipe
If you are a creamsicle fan, this Orange Creamsicle Fudge is so insanely good and tastes just like the classic orange-and-vanilla ice cream bar, only as a melt-in-your-mouth confection instead of an ice cream treat.
Making a creamsicle-inspired fudge is super fun and easy and even if you’re new to making fudge, this marshmallow fudge method results in silky, rich fudge every time.
Swirls of bright citrus fudge ribbon through a creamy white chocolate base, creating a dessert that’s equal parts sweet, tangy and buttery.
Each bite starts with the vibrant flavor of orange and finishes with the smooth, creamy notes of vanilla-like white chocolate, making it hard to stop at just one square. It can be prepped well ahead of time and stored until needed, making it perfect for gifting or entertaining.

How to Make Creamsicle Fudge
To Prep: Add parchment paper to a 8″ x 8″ baking dish and let some of the paper hang off the sides, set aside. Set a small bowl to the side as well.
- In a heavy bottom sauce pan combine the sugar, cubed butter and evaporated milk and cook over a low heat. Stirring until the sugar dissolves. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for around 4 minutes and stir every 30 seconds.
- Remove from the heat and add in the white chocolate chips and marshmallow creme, stir until the mixture is melted and combined. Pour about 1 1/2 cup of the fudge into the small bowl. Pour the remaining fudge into the prepared baking dish.
- Add the orange extract and the orange food coloring to the fudge that’s in the small bowl, stir until it’s completely mixed and there are no more white streaks. Add about 2/3 of the orange fudge mixture to the top of the white fudge mixture. Make swirls all over the fudge using a butter knife, make sure to go deep so the orange goes deep as well.
- Add the remaining orange fudge on top again and swirl again. Place in the fridge for about 2 hours or overnight. Once it’s solid lift up out of the baking dish by grabbing the ends of the parchment paper that’s sticking out. Cut the fudge into squares and enjoy!
Prep Tips
- Store in an airtight container on the counter for 7 days.
- You can use a regular knife or small spatula to swirl the fudge.
- Add as many drops of the food coloring till you get the desired color you’d like.
- Don’t over swirl the colors together, you don’t want them to become one color.
- Keep this in the fridge for a refreshing bite! It also lasts for 2 weeks in the fridge.
- For an even stronger creamsicle flavor, stir ½ teaspoon vanilla extract into the white portion of the fudge before swirling.
