Instructions
To Prep: Line a cookie sheet or plate with parchment paper, set aside.
Place the white chocolate into a microwave safe bowl and melt in 30 second increments, stirring after each.

Once melted, fully cover the cookie completely and with a fork shake off any excess. Place chocolate-covered OREOs on prepared baking sheet.
Continue with the desired amount of cookies. Let dry.
Place the chocolate or black melting chocolate in microwave safe bowl and melt in 30 second increments, stirring after each.
Once melted, spoon into pastry bag and cut off small tip.

To make Jacks face, you’re going to pipe two candy corn shapes for eyes, add the two lines for his nose and then make a squiggly smile and add the ‘stitches’. Repeat with all cookies.
Let dry completely and enjoy!

Prep Tips
- How to store chocolate-covered OREOs: Once the chocolate has set/hardened, store your Oreos in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Avoid refrigerating them, as it will cause the chocolate to sweat.
- Try new flavors: You can add a flavor oil or extract (nothing containing water as that will cause the chocolate to break) or use a flavored OREO for a different flavor profile. Vanilla extract, raspberry flavor oil or Halloween-themed OREOs would be my top suggestions!
- Less mess: While we often use a fork for making chocolate-covered OREOs, it is slightly easier to use actual chocolate-dipping tools (and definitely a little less messy).
- Variations: You can use black candy melts to make Jack’s facial features, but I think the chocolate turned out great and was arguably better tasting!
I hope your family loves these easy Jack Skellington chocolate-covered OREOs as much as mine did!
