Trix Krispie Treats
Trix Marshmallow Squares – like Rice Krispie Treats, but colorful & fruity! An easy no-bake dessert that kids will love!
Trix Marshmallow Treats Recipe
Today’s recipe takes the beloved simplicity and nostalgia of traditional Rice Krispie treats and infuses it with the vibrant hues and fruity flavors of Trix cereal.
The fruity flavors of Trix cereal combined with that sweet, gooey marshmallow goodness that holds it all together is a match made in dessert heaven. The perfect balance of chewiness from the marshmallows and crunchiness from the cereal is a delightful contrast that is so incredibly satisfying.
Trix Krispie Treats are perfect for kids’ birthday parties, school bake sales, or anytime you want to add a pop of color and a touch of whimsy to your day. I surprised my daughter with one of these Trix Krispie treats in her lunchbox and she was over the moon excited!
I think they’d also be perfect for an Pixar’s UP!-themed party or movie night because the little colorful balls of cereal kind of resemble the balloons that lifted the house up into the air – and of course, they’d make a great rainbow-themed treat for St. Patrick’s Day!

Prep Tips
- Garnish & Toppings – For an even more decadent dessert, drizzle melted chocolate or candy melts over the treats before allowing to set.
- Storage – Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature, using parchment paper or wax paper in between layers to prevent the squares from sticking to each other. They will stay fresh for up to 3-4 days. However, for the best taste and texture, it’s recommended to enjoy them within the first 2 days of making them.
