Birthday Cake Cake Mix Cookies Recipe

Before this past week, I had never seen birthday cake-flavored Hershey’s Kisses and you best believe that once I saw them my wheels started spinning on how we could incorporate them into a delicious dessert!

These Birthday Cake Cake Mix Cookies are a simple 4-ingredient cookie recipe with those Birthday Cake Kisses as the star. Nestled in a funfetti cake mix cookie, the kisses make for a decadent dessert that is perfect for many different occasions – but especially birthdays!

The texture of these cookies is soft and chewy, with a slight crunch from the sprinkles and a creamy center from the melted chocolate kisses. The Funfetti cake mix lends a tender crumb to the cookies, while the melted chocolate kisses add a velvety richness that melts in your mouth.

As with most of the recipes on our website, one of the best things about this recipe is how easy it is to make! With just a few simple ingredients and minimal prep work, kids can help measure and mix the ingredients, shape the dough into balls, and press the chocolate kisses into the centers of the cookies. It’s a fun and interactive activity that allows kids to express their creativity while learning valuable kitchen skills.
